Home Assistant comes pre-installed on the computer but requires configuration. Simply connect a LAN cable and boot up the computer. If you have a monitor, you'll see the IP address of Home Assistant after booting. Access the console via this IP address to configure Home Assistant. If you don't have a monitor, you can find the address assigned to Home Assistant in your router settings. Then, open your web browser and navigate to http://homeassistant.local:8123 or http://your_ip:8123 to begin configuration. From there, you can also activate WLAN if you plan to operate the computer in a wireless network.
The computer is always shipped with the latest available version of Home Assistant. If the latest version is not installed, you can initiate an update with a single click through the web interface.
