Discover the complete smart home solution with Home Assistant on the NUC Mini-PC.
Home Assistant is not only free, but it's also driven by over 2000 developers who continuously work on advancing the system. As open-source software for home automation, Home Assistant is independent of any provider, offering maximum flexibility. With over 2200 modular integrations and add-ons, Home Assistant provides a wide range of system integrations for various IoT technologies.
Home Assistant is already installed on the computer but not yet configured. All you need to do is connect a LAN cable and boot up the computer. If you can use a monitor, you'll see the IP address of the Home Assistant after booting. You can access the console via this IP address and configure Home Assistant. If you don't have a monitor, you can find the address assigned to Home Assistant, for example, in your router settings. Then simply open your web browser and go to http://homeassistant.local:8123 or http://your_ip:8123 to start configuring. From there, you can also activate WLAN if you want to operate the computer in a wireless network.
The computer is always delivered with the latest available version of Home Assistant. If the latest version is not installed, you can perform an update with a click through the web interface.
