Battery Disposal Information: As a consumer, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can return old batteries free of charge to our warehouse or in the immediate vicinity (e.g., in stores or at communal collection points). Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out trash can and the chemical symbol of the respective pollutant (e.g., "Cd" for cadmium, "Hg" for mercury, "Pb" for lead).

Battery Deposits: Batteries may not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally required to return used batteries. Deposit-refund schemes are available for certain types of batteries. The deposit amount is indicated near the battery symbol on the product, in the product documentation, or in the accompanying operating instructions.

Legal Information: Please note that batteries are marked with the following symbols: a crossed-out trash can symbol (§ 17 para. 1 BattG), chemical symbols (Cd, Hg, or Pb) indicating the heavy metal pollution (§ 17 para. 2 BattG), and a battery symbol (§ 17 para. 3 BattG) if the battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury, more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium, or more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead.
